A Guide to the Bars of Prague

We start out at Marquis de Sade, located on Templova 8, Prague 1. Its known to be notorious but the bar's atmosphere is a lot toned down though some of its paintings on the walls give off a "rebel aura" and sensuality. During the evenings it is a rather laid-back joint where you can sit at the bar or have a seat at one of its booths with dark wooden tables and enjoy a few beers During happy hour. Kindly staff and good music and if you happen to be here on a Sunday, a nice exiguous treat courtesy of Stan the Man, one of Prague's premier bluesmen awaits you.

If you are going for the big clubs in Prague and want the greatest big club experience, don't miss out on Roxy, located at Dlouha 33, Prague 1. Some say this newly immense converted theater is Prague's whole one club and with good theorize too. This notable spot has had some of the world's top Dj's spin their house music here as well as notable live acts from all over.

Fan

Do you fancy something quirky or just feeling adventurous and want to try something new? If you are, pop by Pivovarsky dum located in Old town, Lipova 15. This place has so many flavored beers you'll be spoilt for choice. All things is home brewed on the premises and they have a good range of food available too if you get hungry after all that.

Another bar located in Old town that is wroth the visit especially if you just want to enjoy a night out with friends and go crazy would be duplicate issue Bar & Club, one of Prague's most beloved cellar bars. Reasonably priced drinks, good atmosphere and as the night goes on, dancing practically in any place you can find a spot from tables to bar tops. But that's the charm of this place; its spirit is so fun and vibrant that it makes population come back for more!

Moving toward New Town, a notable bar Rocky O'Reillys pulls in the crowd night after night. A slice of Irish taste in Prague is what this pub offers with its Guinness and Kilkenny on tap and Kindly Irish service. You even get to watch some live sports on Tv but more than likely the sound of the happy-go-lucky crowd will drown out the Tv sooner or later; but then again, for all the sports fans I'm sure just watching it and basking in the cheer and enterprise is more than enough!

Who Is the Babe Ruth of the Nfl?

When you think of the history of baseball, one of the first, if not the first, name that comes to mind is Babe Ruth. Is Ruth the best baseball player of all time? Probably not, but he is admittedly the face of and poster boy for baseball. Basketball has Michael Jordan. Hockey has Wayne Gretzky. Football has... Well I'm not sure football has a clear cut Babe Ruth.

Is it Joe Montana? Montana won 4 Super Bowls with the 49ers, and was named Super Bowl Mvp 3 times. He also has the most playoff wins by a quarterback in Nfl history.

Fan

Is it Jim Brown? Brown led the Nfl in all-purpose yards a record five times, and left the Nfl as the all time leader in almost every major statistical rushing category.

Is it Barry Sanders? Sanders is carefully one of the most intriguing players of all time. If he wanted it, he would be the Nfl's all time important rusher, but he retired notoriously retired early at the age of 31 while still healthy.

Is it Walter Payton? Payton is often seen as the benchmark by which all other running backs are measured. Sweetness was a dominant force throughout his career, winning Super Bowl Xx along the way.

Is it Jerry Rice? Take a look at the record books and it is laughable how far ahead Rice is in every receiving category. Rice was also named the greatest player in Nfl history by Nfl Films and Nfl.com. He is a three time Super Bowl winner and one time Super Bowl Mvp.

There are any more names that could make this list and it would be hard for anything to disagree with any of them, but my point is there is no clear cut sass on who is the poster boy for the Nfl. And if it's not clear cut then there is no Babe Ruth of the Nfl.

You may have noticed that I didn't put any defensive players on the list. Remember, this isn't a list of the greatest players of all time, and the Nfl is an offense driven league, especially in the eyes of casual fans. I don't think the normal communal would accept a defensive player as the face of the Nfl. In fact, in a 2010 Nfl.com poll, fans did not put a singular defensive player in the top ten players of all time.

What is Whitewater Rafting?

Ever watch footage of those crazy folks winding down the wild rivers of the world with nothing but a yellow raft between them and what appears to be distinct death? If so, you've probably experienced the second-hand thrill of whitewater rafting. But if you've never done it yourself, you might wonder "What is Whitewater Rafting?" What are the ins and outs of the sport and can anyone do it? Where do you go to enjoy whitewater rafting excursions and how does a beginner get started?

The Origins of the Sport

Fan

Whitewater rafting has been nearby for a long time. Records show whitewater runs as early as the first decade of the 1800s, but as a recreational sport, this unique operation began to gain popularity in the 1970s.

Indeed, the rubber raft was invented in the 1840s and used by the U.S. Army for surveying purposes. However, the first actual market whitewater trip didn't take place until early in the 20th century. By the 1940s and 50s, resorts near distinct rivers began to offer rafting expeditions to their guests, but outfitters that specialized in the sport positively didn't begin springing up until the 60s and 70s. The inclusion of whitewater rafting in the 1972 Summer Olympics caused people to stop and ask "What is Whitewater Rafting?" and prompted them to do more explore into the sport. Many of those people come to be instant fans.

Today, whitewater rafting is best defined as a recreational operation that uses multi-passenger, inflatable rubber boats to voyage down rivers that comprise numerous rapids or "whitewater," often navigated by an experienced guide, allowing for a thrilling ride that leaves you soaking wet and screaming for more. Many people naturally refer to it as "the most fun they've ever had!"

Whitewater Rafting for Beginners

If you've always wanted to try your hand at this wet and wild sport but never quite knew how to get started, it isn't difficult, say the experts. The estimate one concern of most individuals, say whitewater guides, is the safety of the sport. There's always some risk, they'll tell you, but if you're rafting with a reputable company that employs experienced guides, the risks are minimal and managed.

Even non-swimmers and children without much swimming sense can voyage safely on distinct whitewater trips, as the life vest is an requisite part of any whitewater equipment. Some outfitters offer special family-oriented trips on mild rapids, convenient for small children and seniors. You should, however, be in good condition and free of any problems which may be aggravated by this or any vigorous operation before you give it a try.

Choosing the Right Whitewater Rafting Trip

After you've answered the questions "What is Whitewater Rafting?" and "Can I Do It?", you'll want to resolve which trips are best for you and your companions. selecting the right excursion can make or break your love for the sport, so start off slow, even if you're anxious to dive into the wild stuff!

Rapids are divided into four classes - Class I straight through Iv - and these classes resolve the attitude of the ride. When researching rides, the class of the rapids will be part of the data provided. Note, however, that the rapids aren't always the same for a singular river. While rapids may be a mild Class I or Ii during the season when the river is low, the same body of water may sense Class Iii or Iv rapids when the runoff from the mountains is at its peak.

If you're just beginning out, take time to ask your outfitter which runs are best for you so that you'll be initiated gently into the world of whitewater. Booking an intense, nail-biting trip the first time out may cause you to hesitate to try the sport again.

Mechanical Ventilation - good Air, Money Savings, Safety, And A More Comfortable Home

Anyone who has spent money on tightening up an existing home or spent extra for energy upgrades for a new home will be vexed by the notion of mechanical ventilation. Understandably it doesn't make sense to make a home more airtight then add a way for more outdoor air to come in, but having your home ventilate properly is critical. Why?

Indoor Air Quality- Indoor Air potential or Iaq has become a buzzword in the Hvac industry. Sometimes buzzwords come about from marketing or misinformation but here there is a legitimate need, as homes are tightening up pollutants are trapped in the home. Older homes are ventilated naturally, but at the cost of comfort and efficiency. Indoor air starts as outdoor air and becomes "dirtier" from pollutants in the home, ventilation removes dirty air and dilutes the existing air.

Fan

Common sources.

Excess moisture. High humidity can lead to condensation which can lead to mold.
Chemicals. Paint thinners, cleaning products, insecticides such.

Building Products. Most newer products comprise chemicals from their production like glues or formaldehydes.

Pets. Dirt dust and dander

Smoke. Candles smoking or even deep frying let off contaminates that hinder breathing.

Energy Savings- The issue is air is arrival in whether you want it to or not, any home exhausts a inevitable amount of air straight through bath fans, kitchen exhaust hoods, water heaters, older furnaces or one pipe furnaces, stack ensue from leaky can lights, hvac boots, attic hatches or clothes dryers. All the air that leaves will be substituted straight through cracks, outlet boxes, open doors, or far worse a back drafting water heater flue. Since that air is arrival in our goal should be to operate it. Mechanical ventilation allows us to bring it into the duct ideas where it will be conditioned and filtered before arrival into the living area. Some types of tool have heat exchangers that pull the heat out of air before it is exhausted.

Comfort. By controlling where the air come in we cut drafts and cold spots.

Safety. We know how as our homes vent or exhaust air the air needs to be replaced, this is called negative pressure. The safety concern comes when a home has a fire place or b-vent water heater that begins back drafting from the negative pressure. If air is being introduced straight through the b-vent when the water heater fires the exhaust gases will spill from the draft diverter allowing co2 into the house. Mechanical ventilation reduces this condition. Regardless of your situation you must have co2 detectors in your home.

Basic types of ventilation

Exhaust ventilation- Removes the contaminant at it's source, like a bath fan or kitchen exhaust hood. While this qualifies as mechanical ventilation it is hardly optimal. Exhaust only leads to unbalanced pressures, drafts and potentially unsafe backdrafting.

Supply Ventilation- Provides a means of introducing fresh air into the home to replace exhausted air and help with dilution of home contaminants. Traditionally a duct is ran from the cold air return of your Hvac ideas to the covering metered by a barometric damper or an electronic damper that opens and closes based on preset conditions. Of the two I prefer the electronic version. By bringing the air straight through the return we can health and filter the air before it is introduced into the living area. Coupled with potential bath and kitchen exhaust fans this setup is effective and should be your minimum standard.

Hrv/Erv- Stands for heat saving ventilator and energy saving ventilator. An Hrv/Erv is a balanced exhaust ideas that runs the exhaust and intake air straight through a heat exchanger, pulling the heat out of our conditioned air before we send it outside. An Erv is the same setup that also pulls out humidity development it a great fit for hot humid areas. Hrv's can be installed stand alone or tied into the duct system. Based on conditions set by your installer the unit will exhaust and replace the same volume of air with reduced heating/cooling load due to the heat exchanger. Someone else astonishing idea that I saw involves a remote mounted bath fan that pulls air from some bathrooms that ties into the Erv. Instead of sending that warm steamy air covering it is ran straight through the Erv.

Below is a generic diagram of a typical Erv.

Unleashed

For Jet Li fans Unleashed will not be a disappointment. It has all the important elements to keep his fan-base happy: fights, fights and more fights. But Unleashed offers something else Jet Li fans may not have been expecting from their beloved superhero...acting. Yes Jet Li well acts in this new film something we have rarely seen from him in his American endeavors but absolutely a nice surprise.

Unleashed tells the story of Danny (Jet Li) a man trained as an attack dog and used by a low level enforcer to ensure that those who owe him money are paying on time and in full. Danny is treated like a dog in every way from the cage he sleeps in, to the food he's given to eat out of the can, to the collar that he wears colse to his neck. And the collar is where all the trouble lies: Collar on, Danny is docile and manageable. Take the collar off and Danny is a ferocious killer who is not going to stop until all that he has been told to attack is dead.

Fan

After a series of unfortunate events, Danny escapes and his found and taken in by a house Stanley (Morgan Freeman) a blind piano tuner and his daughter Sasha a musical prodigy learning at a prestigious music academy. Of course Danny's owners witness where he's at and all hell breaks loose as they try to get him back and Danny tries to safe the house he has come to love.

All in all, the movie is involving enough. The fight scenes as to be expected are amazing. There was one sequence early in the movie when Danny is unleashed on some folk who were trying to shaft his handler and the whup ass they experienced was priceless. But like many movies with immoderate levels of fighting the scenes soon come to be repetitive and predictable.

The other qoute with the fighting is this: Why didn't someone just shoot Danny? I don't know about you but if I knew this loan shark that I owed money to, had this hitman if you will, who didn't use a gun but was essentially a trained fighter, I'd shoot him on sight. As a matter of fact I would but out a hit on Danny to ensure that I never would have to deal with him again. Apparently, however, none of the other criminals in the movie concept about that and suffered greatly for it.

I will say the Jet Li's acting was pretty good. Danny is a character that has been sorely mistreated and is quite unfamiliar with any aspect of the world other then violence. Watching him learn how to grocery shop or his first taste with ice cream was sweet and touching. Li did an exquisite job portraying a man who is experiencing kindness for the first time, add to that his youthful appearance and the difficulty in determining his age, Danny's childlike behavior and wonder at the world is all the more believable.

All in all if you're a Jet Li fan this is the movie for you. You'll get the fighting you want and the occasion to enjoy your beloved performance hero flexing his acting chops. If you're not a fan, stay home. It's not well the movie for you and you'll probably enjoy it as a rental more then spending your time and money at the theatre.

How Can You Use Twitter For Your Business?

If you aren't using Twitter as part of your business's public media strategy, you could be missing out on a great opening to associate with prospects and customers. There are so many ways you can effectively use Twitter to build relationships with your target shop and they don't involve posts about what you ate for lunch or offensive self promotion.

I am talking about verily connecting with your audience and giving back without expecting whatever in return. When you offer help or a principal gift to a prospect, they will remember it. They will begin to know, like and trust you, and you know how prominent that is, right?

Fan

So, how should you use Twitter for your business? The answer totally depends on the goals you have for your company and what you are looking to accomplish in your public media efforts. Here are some ideas to consider:

Host a contest for your followers. This is a way to give your customers and prospects something of value to thank them for their support. Give your followers a free goods in return for being the first to reply to you with a keyword, or offer a trial of your aid for free to the someone who answers a trivia contest. One of my beloved examples of this strategy comes from (my favorite) Nascar driver, Denny Hamlin (@dennyhamlin). He has offered fans race tickets for answering trivia questions.

Provide buyer service. Why not use Twitter as other way to answer your customer's questions or concerns? There are many separate tools available to search for tweets fascinating your business. If you see that someone has mentioned a problem they had with your goods or service, take the opening to experience them and offer a solution. Not only will you satisfy that customer, other inherent customers will see the conversation and know that you are truly committed to buyer aid and satisfaction. And trust me, they will remember this when they are in need of your service.

Teach your followers something new. You do this by providing principal article that your followers would be interested in knowing. If you write an report about how to use a brand new technology that will make life easier for your followers, share it with them. Post a link to your most recent blog post. This doesn't even have to be your own former content. There is so much facts available on the Internet. If you come across a great report that you know would help your followers, post a link to it. Not only are you sharing principal information, but you are also letting your followers know that you keep up with the news and trends in your industry.

Twitter can be a very sufficient tool in marketing your business. If you are already using Twitter to shop your business, take a look at how you are currently using it. Are you using it to your advantage? If you are not currently using Twitter, I urge you to give it a try. You may be very surprised at what will come of it!

Cultural Tourism - Visiting the Remote Tribes of the World in quest of insight

The various tribes of the world that have managed to remain unscathed by the ravages of civilization are high-priced repositories of eco-friendly life styles. These earth-friendly cultures are as enchanting as the intricacies of the Universe itself. Increasingly, those finding for respite from too much civilization are drawn to these pre-historic caches of human life. As a effect there have been instances where tourists rush in where locals fear to tread, and invariably leave a trail of destruction in their wake. There's more to be gained from cultural tourism if it is approached with a inevitable amount of sensitivity that may be termed responsible tourism.

In past centuries cultural or tribal tourism was often motivated by sheer curiosity and had a voyeuristic element which failed to appreciate the down to earth lifestyles of the tribal people. There was a decided feeling of superiority and relief at not being "uncivilized savages" themselves. Others felt an remarkable need to civilize the "savages" or bring them into the folds of religion. So, for anything reason, there was a pressing need to interfere in these indigenous lives to make them better.

Fan

Fortunately in the last few decades this trend has been overtaken by a healthier attitude marked by a genuine interest and responsible mindset, tinged with respect and appreciation for the subject. A quest for understanding has taken tourists to the remote corners of Africa, Americas, and Asia to recognize data regarding alternate ways of life. Anthropological studies and television documentaries have kindled an ever increasing interest in cultural tourism, fanned even more by tour clubs and state governments that see new economic opportunities in their backyards. Celebrities conduce their mite by bringing new places to the attention of the world whether by adopting kids or touring these remote lands. Cultural tourism has in fact arrived, even grown by leaps and bounds. How does this influence the tribes themselves, if at all?

In the northwest region of Namibia, live the tribe of Himba. They inhabit the wilderness of Kaokoland and have done so since time immemorial. The Himba women adorn themselves with a great deal of jewellery and illustrate braids, taking a lot of pride in their femininity. They rub their bodies with a combination of ochre, butter, and fragrant herbs to give their skin a translucent perfection. The Himba lived off the fruit of the land in isolation till the traveler descended on their idyllic hideaway. With the best intentions in the world, they introduced candies to the children and liquor to the men, besides a whole lot of processed food all around. Now Western modernisation has swept the Himba young into its fold, while only the old timers cling to their traditions.

The San, or the Bushmen, are an additional one tribe that have lived in Namibia for at least 30,000 years. They can now be visited as one of the highlights of a safari in the Etosha National Park. The Owambo people, who live in thatched dwellings in a fenced kraal with a sacred fire in the centre, are an additional one attraction.

In the heartland of Australia live the majority of aboriginal tribes such as the Arunta, Arrarnta, Yolgnu, and Aranda, who have persisted in the rhythm of their pre-historic cultures to this day. Marked by a valuable amount of ceremonies, rituals, songs, and dances, their culture has survived intact in inevitable areas where outsiders are forbidden to watch them. However, European colonisation has robbed other tribes of their identities and totally destroyed at least some of their tribal sanctity.

The central and north-eastern states of India have a wealth of ancient tribal cultures that continue survive as their population live more or less the same lives led by their ancestors. There are strongholds of ancient cultures thriving in the remote interiors that are untouched by modernity. The government has taken steps to maintain these as national treasures, and so you have areas like Jharkhand and Chattisgarh where about 70% of the population belong to various tribes. There are a amount of organized tours that take tourists there. You can interact with the local tribes and take part in their ceremonies at adopt opportunities. These tribes are quite willing to share their lives with outsiders but think twice before adopting foreign cultures, which helps maintain their cultural integrity.

Tourism that takes you to the backyards of other people, whether it's an Amish village, Native American Indian sites in North America, or the aboriginals of Australia, is best done with the same respect and accountability we would show when we lean over the fence for a friendly chat or enter a neighbour's kitchen for a cup of tea. We most in fact would not pluck her prize roses, walk all over her vegetable patch, or leave with her pet goldfish. Responsible tour is merely taking these good manners with us when we visit an additional one society and remembering our common humanity while striving for understanding of a culture so separate from our own.

Tribal population have customs, rituals, sacred places, and holy days that we may have no idea about. Even the local population who do not belong to the tribes might be quite vague about details. The governments may not publicize these issues for fear of driving away traveler dollars. Tour operators just do their jobs. So it is pretty much up to us as responsible travellers to ensure we take into list these factors and aim to tread lightly on our planet with respect and understanding.

The hereafter History of Soccer - Predicting the Next Sixty Years

Like a lot of habitancy who went to elementary school in the 1980s, I grew up hearing wondrous tales of what the world would look like in the year 2000. Based on the fictions spread by my assorted teachers, we faced one of two future outcomes: the Soviet Union (remember them?) would either trigger a thermonuclear war, or we would all be zipping colse to in jetpacks and flying cars, wearing oddly matching jumpsuits and eating only large pills and colored liquid. Of course, neither of those things happened, and though my car is very much attached to terra firma, the intervening years have brought a estimate of changes to society, the likes of which nobody would have likely predicted in 1984.

The point, I suppose, is that the prognostication company is at best a crapshoot, and at worst a occasion for habitancy to write things that subsequent events will make a mockery of. Soccer is not immune to brainless predictions, as anything who has followed Pele's occasional annotation in the press knows all to well. So, wanting to look ahead to the future of soccer, but not wanting to expose myself to the ridicule of being proved wrong, I will look way, way head to the year 2062, and tell you what the footballing world will look like in 54 years. I'll be 85 by then, which means I'll either be dead, senile, or so happy that I finally got my flying car that I won't care that I wrote something 54 years ago that makes me sound foolish! If I'm lucky, I would have just seen my 19th World Cup. So what will 2062 Brian Fobi have seen?

Fan

1. England still won't have won someone else World Cup. At the close of the 2062 World Cup, England fans will look send to the 2066 Cup, knowing that absolutely fate will be on their side as they stare down the 100th anniversary of their last win. England is the supreme quarterfinalist, and can look back at a hundred years of Ronaldinho goals, Beckham red cards, Rooney red cards, and Brookyln Beckham red cards, and believe that they are jinxed, but the truth is that they are just not that good.

2. China will still be the next big thing. Based on all you read in the news, in 40 years the Chinese will own, run, manufacture, manage, and dominate everything. Fifa expects great things from China, and absolutely in the middle of then and now China will host at least one World Cup, but more likely two. The Chinese women will continue to do well, but unless a great many things change, I don't see China putting together the kind of league and national youth system critical to furnish 11 world class players. Also, beware the China bubble. China might continue to grow at 10% for the next 50 years, or we may find out that a managed state and cheaper cannot bear the burden of its first major economic downturn. That consulation is best served in someone else venue on someone else day, but suffice to say that I am not yet sold on China's perpetually exciting future, and this goes doubly for football.

3. Conmebol and Concacaf will merge. A merger of these two regions only makes sense. And, as a child of he 1980s, looking these parts merge gives me memories of Devastator advent together to work at the behest of Megatron to drive the Autobots... Sorry. Back to my point, a merger of the North American and South American confederations makes sense, and it will heighten the capability of play all around. First, it would give America and Canada more consistent and meaningful exposure to top competition. Second, it would make the regional championship (Cup of the Americas? Americas' Cup? Copa de Americas?) a truly first rate event that upstages the Euros and takes its place as the second most soccer tournament in the world, after the World Cup. Third, the sheer size of the confederation would necessitate breaking the nations into groups, which would mean fewer games for qualifying for the South American teams.

4. The Caribbean nations will jointly host the most World Cup of all time. construction on their joint hosting of the Cricket World Cup, 10 Caribbean nations will treat football fans to the most fun, sun-soaked, and festive World Cup on record. exciting in the middle of World Cup venues by cruise boat or airplane, thousands of fans will collect to watch soccer in the daytime, then drink and party at night. The final in Port of Spain will take place to a steel drum soundtrack, and everyone, even the defeated fans, will leave happy.

5. The United States will win a World Cup. I'm not saying when, but in the next 56 years, it will happen. If you are skeptical (ahem, supreme America-hater Luis "Snacks" Bueno, I'm talking to you), you are way too pessimistic. Think about it: if my prediction is true, the grandmother of the team's captain might be in preschool right now. The Usa has built a first rate youth system, has excellent corporate backing, has the best sports science in the world, and dadgummit, we're Americans and we don't lose. This the sporting equivalent of the Apollo moon mission. Hell or high water we will get it done.

6. Britain will finally get its act together and field a joint team. I know, this seems unlikely, especially with Scotland getting greater independence and all, but let's be honest. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland all have to struggle just to qualify for the World Cup, to say nothing of absolutely winning it. And, since England is not itself a sovereign nation, it does not make any more sense that they should be a Fifa member than it would for say, Minnesota, to join Fifa. Frustrated by prolonged failures, and possibly even a bit chastened by their feel with the Olympics in which the Ioc did not allow England to send its own team, they will get their act together and kit up a British squad.

7. Africa will... Wow, who knows? This is the toughest one. I have no doubt that Africa will continue to furnish top-tier talent, and I expect that in 50 years most of the top players in the world will come from Africa. The real question, though, is either Africa can begin to organize leagues that can compete at the highest levels and either their football associations will stop interfering with and destroying their national teams. In the last decade, we have seen he football associations of Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal and Cote d'Ivoire rightfully accused of theft, weighty mismanagement of players, threats of violence, political coercion, and utter and perfect incompetence on a scale heretofore unseen in soccer history. To make matters worse, African nations have not dedicated themselves to developing their own coaches, do not adequately prepare youth, and offer the most shoddy and dilapidated facilities in which to train and play.

That said, the continent continues to furnish astonishing players, and the march that began with Weah and Milla from Liberia and Cameroon, respectively, continues with true gems like Drogba, Eto'o, Adebayor, Essien, and a bevy of other stars. In the end, the fortunes of African soccer will rise or fall with the continent's capability or inability to right its economies, to furnish wealth, to originate infrastructure, and to purge its governments, and thereby its football associations, of the kind of kleptocratic, nepotistic, and capricious bureaucracy that has ground down the continent's best minds and talents. If the continent can turn itself around, there are a least ten nations that have the potential to become true world soccer powers (Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, and Togo come to mind). If not, then we will see what we have seen in the last 25 years: stars arise, and every World Cup one or two African nations will impress, but the rest will fall flat.

8. The three best leagues in the world will be 1) The Brazilian league, 2) the Mls, and 3) French Ligue 1. Brazil has increasingly become more sure of itself as a nation, and as its cheaper grows, it will furnish the kind of broad and deep wealth capable of supporting teams who organize and reserve the best players in the world. When Santos, Flamengo and Gremio have he bankroll to prevent players like Kaka, Ronaldinho, or Robinho from leaving, the Brazilian teams will heighten rapidly and exponentially. As for the Mls, soccer is growing steadily and absolutely in the United States, and within twenty years or so, the league will be among the best in the world. The United States has a real benefit because, as the world's cultural center, it will all the time have a cache and drawing power that other nations cannot match. In other words, once the Mls becomes a viable option, financially and competitively, with European leagues, the marketing potential and luster of the United States will allow the Mls to move past its European rivals. Twenty years might seem too soon, but the league recently paramount its 10th anniversary, and anything colse to for the inauspicious occasion days of the league can attest to the manner and rate of its growth. As for France, it's just a hunch, nothing more. The league has long under-performed, and it seems like a nation of France's wealth and soccer pedigree should have a best league. Also, look out for the J-League.

9. Australia will rue the day they moved to Asia. The thinking was that by exciting to Asia, Australia would have an easier road to qualification. In the past, the Oceania winner would have to face a home-and-home playoff against a South American team, and until this last World Cup, Australia could be counted on to lose that. As Japan, South Korea, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and China continue to improve, it will become the case that Australia faces an increasingly difficult road to qualifying, and will miss some World Cups that it may have made had it decided to instead take on teams like Uruguay or Venezuela.

10. Someone will take Fifa down a notch. In modern years, Sepp Blatter has become more and more sanctimonious and over-the-top in the way that he discusses soccer's role in the world, its capability to transcend national boundaries and, more troublingly, that the game (or, more pointedly, the administrators of the game: Fifa) is not subject to any national laws. There have been other sporting institutions that have tried to enlarge the same lame argument, and in the United States, at least, they have typically lost. Fifa needs to be subject to national laws, and talk to the contrary is utter rubbish, and if true would give Fifa a status that no other institution in the world possesses. Sure, this would cause executive headaches for Fifa, but to pronounce that Fifa can do anything it wants without, for example, concern for local labor laws, is both anti-democratic and wholly unjustified. In addition, Fifa will have to learn a hard chapter as it attempts to fight the flow of history and inflict caps on foreign players employed and fielded by club teams. Globalization is a reality, and ultimately Fifa will learn these lessons.

So, by the time I am on my deathbed, soccer will look quite a bit different. In most respect these changes will be positive. Now that I have offered my concept on what the next six decades hold, I'm exciting to hear your opinions on what you think will happen in the world of soccer.

Arsenal Football Club - How Long Can Arsenal Stay in the 'Big Four' of the Premier League?

I confess that I have a liking for Arsenal. In fact, of all the so-called 'Big Four' they are probably the one team that I wouldn't mind having to watch every week. They play a lovely, silky game of football and, when they are in full flight, they are probably the nearest thing we have in this country to a team that can match Barcelona.

Unfortunately, they can't match Barcelona in terms of finishing ability. Or probably defending, for that matter. In fact, in those two departments they themselves can be matched by quite a few of the 'lesser' teams in English football.

Fan

It's such a shame, really, for the neutral, that a team that has the passing ability in it that this Arsenal team has somehow seems to come up short time and time again. Players with the ability of Fabregas, Arshavin, Van Persie, and Walcott should genuinely have won something in the past few seasons.

So where has it gone wrong? Or, as some Arsenal fans are sure to argue, has it not gone wrong at all; it's simply a matter of time. Or economics. Or something else.

Three things attack me. Again, I stress; as a neutral. My wife supports Tottenham but I don't let that colour my perspective at all.

Anyway, the first is that when I remember that truly great Arsenal team of a few years ago, it's not just their ability of passing I remember. Yes, Pires, Henry, Bergkamp, Ljungberg, etc could pass the ball - but the whole team had a solidity and physicality about it that just doesn't seem to be there in the gift one. When you remember Patrick Vieira, you remember his hardness as much as his undoubted skill. So often now when you see the two teams lining up for the girly handshakes - sorry, pre-match civilities - the Arsenal team looks like a junior side compared to the team they're playing against. That so-important spine running through the team doesn't seem to be quite right.

And when you remember Ian Wright, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp you remember their ruthless precision in manufacture roughly every opening count; something today's strikers are a long way from achieving.

Finally, and here Arsenal fans will be able to shed light on this - the lack of trophies seems to me to have coincided with the move to the Emirates Stadium. It's a spectacular, place to watch football, and every person should go there - but Arsenal left Highbury in May, 2006 and haven't won anything since. I don't believe in curses or stuff like that. I do wonder, though, if the financial impact of the stadium, especially in what we have to call 'the current economic climate', has had a dramatic impact on the manager's change budget.

I fully applaud the way that Arsene Wenger can take players of whom we know very miniature and make them into superstars. But I wonder if this policy has rather been forced on him because most of the money is tied up elsewhere.

Whatever the reason, I genuinely fear for Arsenal this year. A team with the financial clout of Manchester City might start to make real progress. Everton are only a concentrate of players away from having a genuinely good squad - and no-one could accuse them of lacking physicality. My wife tells me to write that Tottenham are going to be up there this season as well; she might be right.

I hope, somehow, that Arsenal can, in 2009/2010, stop being 'promising' and 'young' and genuinely play like they did a few years ago. I hated the way Manchester United brushed them aside in the Champions' League semi-final; it was brutal.

I want to see an Arsenal team that plays fast, fluent, passing football but also has got some steel at the back and a ruthlessness in attack.

If they have another season like last year, I fear that the 'Big Four' might not include them.

The Toshiba Satellite T135-S1305 13.3-Inch Ultra-Thin Laptop

Since its launch, we have been one of the biggest fans of Toshiba's T135 ultra-thin laptop series. They were very stylish, thin, practical and most important of all, have a great price tag to match. The 13.3-inch Toshiba T135-S1305 comes with an Intel Su4100 processor (1.3Ghz). It has 3Gb of Ddr3 Ram and 320Gb for storage. This set of specs is perfect for those who is looking for laptop to run coarse tasks such as running Office applications, checking emails, surfing the web and watching movies.

For graphics processing, the Toshiba T135-S1305 has an Intel Gma 4500M processor. The screen is a Hd Led back-lit screen and it also comes with a Hdmi out put. Fan

The extra computing power and the slim profile of the Toshiba T135-S1305 makes it a great alternative to netbooks. Tiny netbooks are generally carefully underpowered when compared to full-featured laptops and honestly, are just not as comfortable to use as general sized laptops.

The compose of the Toshiba T135-S1305 would also be one of its biggest highlights. We especially liked the white colored model. It measures at 12.7 x 1.35 x 8.78 inches in dimensions and weighs 3.9 pounds. It also has an impressive 9-hour battery life that significantly adds to its portability. Overall, the Toshiba T135-S1305 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptop has proven to be a very practical, approved and conveyable laptop model. At the moment, it is priced at just around 7 per unit.

Caution - 3 Sure Shot Signs a Psychic is a Phony! You Must Avoid Fake Psychics at All Costs

Are you worried that a psychic you're considering is a phony, fraud or fake? You aren't alone. As a matter of fact, in my experience, one of the biggest reasons so many population put off getting a reading is that they are afraid of being ripped off or duped by a fake. And truth be told, I don't blame you! With so many charlatans coming out of the woodwork, it's often difficult to tell the real deal from the fakes, frauds and fly by night rip offs!

Filed Under: simple Signs that a Psychic aid (or private Intuitive) is a Phony

Fan

Sign #1: No history. If a psychic is new to the "scene", it's unfortunately a red flag. Now, that doesn't mean, on it's own, that the reader is not real. It simply means you better look a lot closer before you fork over any money. Remember this: the psychic society is a relatively small and close knit one. A genuine psychic is ordinarily pretty well known and recognized, even by their peers. If someone simply shows up out of left field with no discernible reputation (especially when they make outlandish offers) it's a good sign to stay away until more facts is available.

Sign #2: No "Fans". Look - a good psychic has fans. We've said it before, and it continues to be true today. Every good reader I've ever used I've Raved about afterwards. I've told population about my experience, and I've approximately always left a glowing delineate of the reader in question. If the reader you're mental about calling or visiting has No definite reviews, or feedback of any type, it's again, a Warning sign as far as I'm concerned. (and you'd be well advised to look elsewhere)

Sign #3: Offers "Free" Readings: Unless you know them personally, a professional intuitive, clairvoyant, medium or psychic will approximately Never offer wholly free readings. (unless for charity or crime solving) The truth? Most free offers are a red flag. More population have been Duped by free psychic readings than just about any other type of promotion, and just the same as I'd be very weary of a doctor, lawyer or auto mechanic who advertised to work for "free", so to do we apply the same logic when it comes to a genuine reading that's "above board" to boot!

West Indies Players - Charlie Griffith

Born in Pie Corner, Barbados on December 14th, 1938, Charles (Charlie) Christopher Griffith was no pie thrower, but the lesser partner in the Hall-and-Griffith new-ball partnership. According to Cricinfo's Martin Williamson, "Charlie Griffith struck fear into opposition batsmen in the 1960s. Whereas Hall was an out-and-out quick, Griffith was slower, but he possessed a lethal faster ball which many were unhappy with." One of Griffith's lethal deliveries fractured the skull of Indian batsman, Nari Contractor, in 1963.

While Charlie Griffith was not as flourishing as his compatriot, Wes Hall, he left an indelible mark in cricket history- albeit under questionable circumstances. He was a feared fast bowler, yes, but many interrogate the legality of his bowling action. Fans and players often suspected that Griffith "threw" his faster deliveries (as opposed to pies). In the 1960s, the television coverage of players was not as exact as it is now, but the suspicions lingered until Griffith remodelled his action. Unfortunately, he negatively remodelled his bowling returns as well. To demonstrate this, Griffith scalped 59 wickets in his first 14 Tests and only 35 in his next 14 matches.

Fan

Griffith made his Test debut for the West Indies against England at Port of Spain in 1960. He ended his work against New Zealand at Christchurch in 1969. During his nine years of international cricket, Charlie played 28 Test matches, taking 94 wickets at an midpoint of 28.54. His best innings bowling figures of 6/36 came against England at Leeds in 1963. His best match figures of 9/81 at Test level came in that very match as well. Griffith took 5-wickets in a Test innings on five occasions, with four 5-wicket hauls against England and one against Australia.

In 1963, Griffith had an astounding year, capturing 32 Test scalps from only five Test matches, to earn the Wisden Cricketer of the Year award in 1964. It is spicy to note that he played most of his Tests against England and Australia. Outside of those two, he played India thrice and New Zealand twice.

Charlie Griffith is considered a 'great' of West Indies cricket by his reputation as a feared fast bowler and because of his efficient partnership with Wes Hall in the 60s. Accusations of throwing diminished his impact and tarnished his reputation somewhat. Charlie never played First class cricket for teams other than the W.I. And Barbados, likely because of the suspicions of "throwing." however he remains one of the icons of Caribbean cricket.

  • Fan head pivots 180 degrees; three speeds and oscillator toggle switch

  • 2-hour timer for automatic turn-off; wall-mounting brackets; 5-foot power cord
  • 115 volts; measures 14-1/2 by 14-1/2 by 6-1/2 inches; one-year warranty

Soleus Air FTY-25 10-Inch Wall Mountable Table Fan Overview

10" table fan with three wind speeds, a two hour timer. It can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table. Oscillating front grill.

Soleus Air FTY-25 10-Inch Wall Mountable Table Fan Specifications

A good fan can make the difference between a sleepless and a restful night. Soleus Air's FTY-25 10-inch table fan has three speeds and a five-finned blade--five fins move more air than the traditional four--to help make a hot, stuffy room feel much cooler. In addition, it has a timer that can be set for up to two hours; that way the fan shuts off by the time the evening is cooling down. The fan head is anchored on top and bottom like a globe, allowing it 180 degrees of rotation, and the fan grill can oscillate to push air into a wider area.

The FTY-25 table fan has a modern look to it, with an asymmetrical, crescent-shaped stand that curves around the circular fan head. It's built of heavy-duty silver plastic and has blue-gray detailing. It sits on two rounded feet; there are wall-mounting screw brackets on the underside of the feet. Speed selection is made with a sliding knob on the side, and there's a simple on-off toggle for the oscillation. The timer button echoes the crescent shape of the fan's body; it is marked in 20-minute increments, but it can be set at any point between 0 and 120 minutes. The power cord is 5 feet long, which can be especially helpful when using the FTY-25 as a wall fan.

To use as a wall fan, mount two screws vertically to a wall at a distance of 7-5/6 inches from each other, and use the two wall-mounting screw brackets in the bottom of the feet. Always unplug fan before cleaning; use a soft cloth, dry or only slightly moistened, and towel or allow to air dry afterward. Do not allow water to drip on or enter fan housing. The 115-volt Soleus Air FTY-25 table fan measures 14-1/2 by 14-1/2 by 6-1/2 inches, with a 10-inch fan head. Soleus Air offers a 1-year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use conditions. --Garland Withers

Save Money and Stay Warm

Although autumn is my favorite time of year it does mean that winter is looming in the not too distant future. That means it is time to prepare your home for winter in such a way to avoid any unnecessary expenses. After all, even a low utility bill is more than we want to see.

By being proactive and planning ahead you will be able to save quite a bit on your heating expenses. Plainly you want to start with your furnace or other heating source. Insure that it is both safe and functional.

Fan

Before the temperatures drop you should check all ductwork and registers. It is foremost that the registers are clean and unobstructed in order to allow for a clear airflow. A clean filter is also a vital component when your goal is efficiency and maximum airflow.

Be sure to check out your thermostat. It should be in a location that does not receive drafts and it should not be near a heat source. Programmable thermostats allow you to automate lowering the temperature at night while you sleep and when you are away at work.

By lowering the setting by one degree you can comprehend a savings of up to three percent in your energy costs.

The last step in your thermostat preparation is that of testing the theory for even distribution of heat. Turn on the heat for a few hours and walk straight through your home.

If you find hot spots or cold spots you will need to adjust both the thermostat as well as the venting on the registers. You should decrease the airflow in the hot spots and increase it in the cold spots.

Another hint is to Plainly close of registers and doors to any unused rooms in your home. Since heat rises it is a good idea to have ceiling fans that can push that heat back down into the livable area of the rooms.

Check nearby doors and windows for drafts. You may need to use a fan to be more precise in this check. Add weather-stripping where needed nearby doors and caulk nearby windows. If you now have screens in your windows you will probably want to switch them out for glass replacements. Storm doors and windows can decrease heat loss while helping to hold existing heat.

Close curtains or drapes at night. That will help to cut the heat loss straight through your windows. I also advise that you use rolled towels to place at the lowest of doors.

Check nearby any light switches or outlets on walls that are on the perimeter of your home. If you can feel airflow you will need to tend to that problem. A quick and free fix is to cut a piece of Styrofoam (from a piece that you get from meat packaging) to fit the area. Cut out any sections needed and use that to cover the area. Then Plainly replace your cover.

Set your hot water temperature to 120 degrees. If you have a dishwasher you may want to set it at 140 degrees.

Insulation can make a big incompatibility in the energy needed to heat a home. A minimum of R-30 insulation in ceilings or attics is recommended.

Ovens use a lot of energy so use yours wisely. Although recipes roughly all the time advise pre-heating an oven it usually is not authentically necessary. If you pre-heat at all only allow a few minutes to pass before you add your dish to the oven.

Keep the oven door ended during your cook time in order to conserve the heat. And cook more than one dish at a time. When you are ended with the oven leave the door slightly ajar in order to allow that heat to flee into your home. Slow cookers can be wonderful alternatives to oven use as can a microwave. Both appliances use much less energy than ovens.
